Ce long métrage nous invite à découvrir la vie du célèbre Bruce Lee et le duel dans lequel il faisait face au maître de kung-fu Wong Jack Man à San Francisco, en 1965. Cet artiste martial, réalisateur, acteur, producteur et scénariste sino-américain est né le 27 novembre 1940 et mort d’un œdème cérébral le 20 juillet 1973. Certains considèrent Bruce Lee comme le plus grand maître d’arts martiaux dans le cinéma du XXe siècle. Il a encouragé d’autres acteurs chinois (comme Jackie Chan ou Jet Li) et occidentaux (comme Jean-Claude Van Damme, Steven Seagal, David Carradine, et même Chuck Norris).
