- - - - - -A definition of memory and what blocks it : |
|
|
| |
|
|

1 - to acquire information
2 - to retain it intact
3 - to retrieve it on demand
|
|
At each stage, a malfunction of memory can occur :
Stage 1 : acquisition of information:
- the message to be retained is not clear
- the message is difficult to grasp (too far away, not loud enough)
- the speaker is at fault : he speaks poorly, too softly, too quickly…
- the recipient has poor eyesight, is a bit deaf… the message is of no interest so it does not engage attention.
|
The message is not clear,
The message is too long,
The messenger does not speak loudly enough
|
|
Stage 2 : retention of information :
- the brain is not active, attentive
- health problems :
physical : like a headache or a toothache
mood : like low morale, depression, serious worries
Stage 3 : Retrieval of information :
- the desire to remember is not strong enough
- the demand that I remember is not insistent enough
In most cases it is not a question of poor memory,
but poor use of a good memory |
